WASHINGTON - Facing a nearby Division III foe in a mid-week matinee affair three days before Christmas, GW didn't want to wait to open its presents. The Revolutionaries scored early and often en route to a 97-40 victory.
Sophomore guard Ty Bevins got extended run and enjoyed a breakout performance with a team-high tying 14 points to establish a new career high.
A pair of Revolutionaries double-doubled in the victory, with Luke Hunger netting 12 points and corralling a career-high 15 rebounds, while Jean Aranguren enjoyed 13 points and a career-best 10 dimes.
After the holiday, GW opens A-10 play on the road on New Year's Eve at Richmond in a 4 p.m. tip on ESPN+ and Monumental Sports Network.
