#19 Water Polo Routs Bucknell, 17-8

George Washington water polo took its #19 national ranking on the road to Bucknell on Saturday and promptly dismantled the Bison in a 17-8 rout.
GW peppered the Bison defense with 35 shots from 10 different players, with eight Revolutionaries finding their mark. Adonis Vlassis led his team with four goals while chipping in with four assists and two steals, and reigning MAWPC Rookie of the Week Andrea Forno netted three of his own. Sophomore attacker Yam Kabakov also buried three goals for George Washington and came up with a pair of steals.
In net, graduate goalkeeper Vasilije Marinkovic showed off his MAWPC Co-Defender of the Week status by turning away 18 Bucknell shots. GW stays on the road for a rematch with Mercyhurst, Sunday at 10 a.m. in Erie, Pa. Last week, the GW Revs trounced the Lakers, 18-10, in home water.
