New Donor-Funded Scoreboard to be Installed at Soccer & Lacrosse Field

Following the conclusion of the fall sports season on the Mount Vernon Campus, GW Athletics will oversee the installation of a new scoreboard at the soccer & lacrosse field.
The project is 100% donor-funded and will be installed and operational prior to the start of the lacrosse season in February.
"This is a much needed upgrade for three of our varsity programs that will enhance the game day experience for our student-athletes and fans," said Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Michael Lipitz. "We are grateful for the support of our loyal alumni, parents and friends of these three programs that have made it a reality."
Recently new turf, lighting and outfield wall padding was installed at the softball field as GW Athletics continues to enhance its Mount Vernon Campus outdoor sports complex. Fans can also follow for updates on X at @GWsports and gwsports on Instagram. Â
