WASHINGTON- GW volleyball is set for a pivotal weekend of A-10 volleyball in the Smith Center, welcoming the Dayton Flyers to Foggy Bottom. Action between the teams is set for Friday evening at 6 p.m., and Saturday at 1 p.m., and both matches will be carried on ESPN+. 

Heading into Friday night, GW is in a tie for second place in the conference, knotted up with George Mason, Loyola Chicago and VCU with 6-1 A-10 records. The Flyers, the only undefeated team in A-10 action, occupy the league's No. 1 spot with a 7-0 mark in conference play. Statistically, GW leads the league as a team in points (17.49/set), assists (12.49/set) and kills (13.67/set).

·      The Flyers have jumped out to a hot start since beginning the A-10 slate; after finishing 5-6 in non-conference, Dayton has rattled off series victories over Davidson, Fordham and Saint Louis, while also claiming a midweek match over Duquesne.

·      The Flyers earned an at-large bid to last year's NCAA tournament, ultimately falling to Nebraska in the Sweet 16.
