Men’s Basketball Alumnus Ricky Lindo Jr. Joins Dallas Mavericks for NBA Summer League

WASHINGTON - GW men's basketball alumnus Ricky Lindo Jr. has signed on to play with the Dallas Mavericks in the upcoming NBA2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas.
Lindo will tip off his inaugural foray into the summer league on Saturday, July 13 at 10:30 pm on NBATV vs. the Utah Jazz. The Mavs' schedule also features national TV games on July 15 vs. the Memphis Grizzlies (8 p.m., ESPNU), July 17 vs. the Miami Heat (3 p.m., ESPN2) and July 19 vs. the Boston Celtics (4:30 p.m., ESPNU).
The 2023 GW graduate had a standout inaugural professional season for Kouvot in Finland last winter. Lindo nearly averaged a double-double with a team-best 17.5 ppg and 9.8 rpg in 31 games, shooting 54% from the field and 39% from beyond the arc.
Lindo joins James Bishop IV (Minnesota Timberwolves) as former members of the Buff & Blue partaking in this year's summer league.
