GW Athletics Extends Partnership With adidas

The Department of Athletics at the George Washington University is pleased to announce an extended partnership with adidas for GW's 20 intercollegiate teams and more than 400 student-athletes to continue to be outfitted by one of the worldwide leaders in sport performance apparel and equipment.
"Our partnership with adidas has been outstanding and we proudly wear the Three Stripes across the nation's capital and in many of the nation's top media markets in the Atlantic 10's footprint," said Director of Athletics Tanya Vogel. "There's a shared vision between GW and adidas. At adidas they say 'Through sport, we have the power to change lives.' At GW, we change the world, one life at a time. The fit is obvious."
GW Athletics boasts a proud history dating back more than 100 years and includes championships won in 19 different sports, including 12 in the four years in partnership with adidas. The largest university in the District of Columbia and one of the newest members in the AAU, GW is positioned for continued growth and long-term success on a global scale.
"We thank LEONA for its outstanding work in serving as our consultant throughout the process that helped lead to this deal,"Â noted Vogel.
