GW volleyball's Cayla Cogan has been named Student-Athlete of the Week following a standout opening weekend of conference play against Saint Louis University.
Cogan recorded a combined 31 kills across two back-to-back matches against Saint Louis, making an immediate impact as the Revolutionaries opened their Atlantic 10 Conference campaign.
Cogan's 31-kill weekend and consistent offensive contribution helped GW battle through two five-set matches and earn a conference-opening split. The Buff and Blue are on the road this weekend for two matches in Richmond against Virginia Commonwealth University. Friday's match will begin at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday's will begin at 3:00 p.m. on ESPN+.
