Volleyball Prepares for Midweek Matchup with George Mason, Hosts Weekend Series with Davidson

WASHINGTON -Â After sweeping Fordham, the GW volleyball team now turns its attention to a midweek matchup with George Mason in Fairfax, Va. before welcoming the Davidson Wildcats to the Smith Center on Saturday and Sunday. All three of this week's matchups will be streamed on ESPN+.Â

WEEK REWIND
In the second week of Atlantic 10 play, the GW Revs swept the Fordham Rams to move to 13-4 (3-1) on the season. Leading GW through both matches was first-year Taylor Treahy, who registered 24 kills behind a .333 hitting percentage across both matches. ON THE OPPONENTS
Heading to the midweek matchup, George Mason sits 6-10 (1-3) in 2024. The Patriots prepare to host the Revolutionaries after a weekend road series with Davidson. The Patriots and Wildcats split the series, giving George Mason its first A-10 victory of 2024. All-time, GW leads the rivalry with the Patriots 22-9 heading into Wednesday evening, with the two squads facing each other since 2004.
