Volleyball Set for Weekend with Rhode Island

WASHINGTON – GW volleyball will begin a three-match homestand, welcoming Rhode Island to the Smith Center on Saturday at 2 p.m., followed by a Sunday match with the Rams at noon. Both games will be available to watch on ESPN+.Â

LAST TIME OUT
This weekend's series will be the Buff & Blue's first A-10 action at home this season. The Revolutionaries began conference play at Davidson last weekend, dropping both matches to the Wildcats, 1-3 on Saturday and 0-3 on Sunday. Brittany Myers helped the GW offense in both matches, recording 21 kills across the two games, swinging with a .316 efficiency in Saturday's match (15 kills, three errors). Amina Robinson matched her career-high with 27 digs on Saturday, and was GW's designated libero throughout the weekend.
SCOUTING RHODE ISLANDÂ
Rhode Island also seeks its first win of A-10 action after falling twice to George Mason last weekend to move to 3-11 overall. Madi Disu has reached double figures in kills in four consecutive matches. She has put down 63 kills in the last four, averaging 5.75/set in the span. She leads the Rams offensive in total kills (122) and kills per set (2.77). Hope Passerello is seventh in the conference averaging 5.7 assists per set, helping a Ram offense that has hit .180 or better in three of their last four matches. Â
