THANK YOU SENIORS
GW will celebrate Senior Day ahead of the Mount St. Mary's game on Saturday. The Buff and Blue will honor six seniors and graduate students: Luca Castorina, Michael Fearon, Viktor Jovanovic, Nik Schoening, Kalan Smith and Mateus Stellet. The group has a combined 20 seasons of experience for the Buff and Blue, and includes multiple student-athletes who have earned All-MAWPC recognitions. GW thanks these student-athletes for their contributions to Buff and Blue water polo.
ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
Wager is 15-11 overall, which includes a 6-3 record in the MAWPC. The Seahawks are looking to improve on their 1-5 record in true road games with three games away from home this weekend. Mount St. Mary's is 6-18 overall with an 0-9 record in the MAWPC. The Mountaineers haven't won a game since Oct. 13, which was a 17-10 win over Gannon. Mount St. Mary's also will face Johns Hopkins (Friday) and Navy (Sunday) this weekend as it closes the regular season. The Mountaineers and Revolutionaries have gone head-to-head once this season, which resulted in a 15-14 overtime win for GW on Oct. 7.
