Volleyball Finishes Regular Season at VCU

GW to play its final pair of A-10 matchups on Saturday and Sunday
WASHINGTON – With its spot already secured in the A-10 Championship tournament, GW volleyball will finish its regular season at VCU this weekend, playing a pair of matches vs. the Rams on Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m.Â
LAST TIME OUTÂ
GW clinched its postseason berth after a 2-0 weekend at Rhode Island last weekend. MC Daubendiek led her team on Friday night with 14 kills and a career-high .550 hitting percentage. In Saturday's sweep, Tierra Porter led with a match-high 10 kills behind a career-high .643 hitting percentage. Porter made 12 stops at the net across the weekend, adding to her conference-leading total of 150 this season.

The Rams are 8-8 in the A-10 and 13-15 overall. Junior middle blocker Jasmine Knight enters the weekend as the A-10's Co-Player of the Week after averaging 4.11 kills per set, hitting .493 as the Rams split a pair of matches last weekend with Duquesne. VCU's Qairo Bentley is second in the conference with 356 kills, averaging 3.24 kills/set.Â
