Volleyball Welcomes Davidson for Final Pair of Home Matches

GW will play the Wildcats on Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 3 p.m.
WASHINGTON – GW volleyball will play its final two home matches this weekend against Davidson. First serve on Friday is set for 6 p.m., followed by a 3 p.m. start on Saturday for Senior Day.
LAST TIME OUT
Highlighted by a season-high 14 service aces and a .280 hitting percentage, GW picked up a 3-1 victory over George Mason on Tuesday. Brittany Myers led the GW offense with 16 kills, bringing her season total to 211. Salem Yohannes tallied 12 kills and added nine digs. Grace Allread led GW at the service line with four aces and Amina Robinson and Markella Lanara each added three.

Saturday marks the final home match for graduate students Bella Bowman and Tierra Porter and senior Addie Feek. The trio will be celebrated before first serve on Saturday.
SCOUTING DAVIDSON
The Wildcats (17-6, 11-1 A-10) enter Friday with a four-match win streak, with its only conference loss coming in a 3-1 setback at Saint Louis. Sophomore Isabel Decker leads Davidson's offense with 241 kills, averaging 3.05 k/s. Libero Bella Brady is second in the A-10 with 428 digs and leads the conference with an average of 5.22 digs/set. Brady enters the weekend as the reigning A-10 Defensive Player of the Week. Additionally, first-year Kayla Davis earned Rookie of the Week honors.
