Buff and Blue return home on Saturday for Senior Day
DURHAM, N.C. - GW men's soccer (6-7-2, 2-4) fell to #2 Duke (10-0-3, 4-0-2 ACC), 4-0, on Tuesday night.
The Colonials held off the Duke attack for the majority of the first half, but the Blue Devils converted just before halftime and added to their lead in the second half. Shakur Mohammed scored his eighth and ninth goals of the season and continues to lead the Blue Devils in points.
How It Happened:
42nd Minute: Mohammed scored the match's first goal with a strike from inside the box, coming off a Cameron Kerr assist.
65th Minute: Duke doubled its lead off the foot of Luke Thomas, with assists from Peter Stroud and Wayne Frederick.
78th Minute: Mohammed added to the Blue Devils' lead with a conversion on a penalty kick.
88th Minute: Scotty Taylor wrapped up the scoring with a late goal. Drew Kerr and Bryce Burnam were credited with assists.
Notable:

Justin Grady faced 10 shots on net and was credited with five saves.

Dukes' Peter Stroud, along with GW's Elias Norris and Demi Amigun were issued yellow cards.
Up Next:
The Buff and Blue will return to the GW Soccer Field on Saturday for the final time this season for Senior Day and an A-10 matchup with La Salle. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. and the match will be aired live on ESPN+.
