Bishop scored 55 points in GW's two games last week, the most in consecutive games for a Colonial since Tyler Cavanaugh had 56 from January 9-12, 2016. The junior guard averaged 27.5 ppg, shot 49% from the floor, 50% from beyond the arc and 86% from the free throw line.
He started his week with his first career 30-point performance on Wednesday night at Saint Louis. Bishop was 9-of-19 from the floor, knocked down four 3-pointers and became the first Colonial to reach 30 points in regulation since DJ Williams scored 30 against Fordham in 2019.
Speaking of the Rams, Bishop dropped 25 against Fordham on Sunday, hitting 9-of-18 shots, and saving his best for last. With the Buff & Blue trailing by five with six minutes remaining, Bishop scored 12 points as part of the game-ending 20-6 run that included eight straight points in a 90-second span.
