Silberman scores for sixth-straight game
WASHINGTON – The George Washington women's soccer team fell to VCU, 2-1, on Thursday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• 62nd Minute: VCU's Samantha Jerabek scored her first goal of the season. (VCU, 1 GW, 0)
• 77th Minute: Natalie Silberman fired a shot that hit off of the post and trickled in for her sixth goal of the season. (GW, 1 VCU, 1)
• 78th Minute: Just one minute later, VCU's Lana Golob responded, heading one into the back of the net off of a corner kick from Jerabek. (VCU, 2 GW, 1)
NOTEWORTHY
- Silberman extended her goal-streak to six-consecutive games.
- As a team, GW took seven shots, five of which were put on goal.
