Natalie Silberman extends goal-streak to five games

DAVIDSON, N.C. – The GW women's soccer team earned a 1-0 overtime victory at Davidson on Sunday after Natalie Silberman netted her second game-winning goal of the season.

Silberman has scored in five-straight games for GW. The goal marks the senior midfielder's fifth of the season, surpassing her four-goal season in 2018.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• 102^nd Minute – Silberman struck from 25 yards away, curling one inside of the far post to put it out of the reach of Davidson's keeper. Isabelle Eskay assisted on the lone goal of the contest.

NOTEWORTHY
-        Silberman continues to be GW's leading scorer with five goals.
-        GW took seven shots, three of which were put on goal, while Davidson tried 12 shots in all.
-        Eskay recorded a team-high two shots on goal.
-        It was GW's second-consecutive overtime finish.
-        In net, Tamaki Machi made six saves to record the clean sheet.
-        With the victory, GW holds the 3-1-1 series advantage.
