Volleyball Set for Final Road Tests of the Season

GW to play Duquesne on Friday, Dayton on Sunday
WASHINGTON – GW volleyball will play its final pair of road matches this weekend, visiting Duquesne on Friday for a 7 p.m. start before heading to Dayton on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup against the Flyers.
GW will then finish its regular season at home next weekend, hosting VCU on Friday and Davidson on Sunday. Â
LAST TIME OUT:Â Addie Feek led GW in kills and blocks in last weekend's loss at Saint Louis. Feek tallied six kills to lead the Buff & Blue offense for the second-straight match and also registered two blocks. Liv Womble added five kills and Salem Yohannes added four kills to boost her team-leading total to 180.
SCOUTING DUQUESNE:Â The Dukes (10-14, 5-8 A-10) are led by junior setter Hailey Poling, who paces all setters in the A-10 with 896 assists. This season, Poling has helped a Duquesne offense to 1,139 kills, led by Morgan Kelly (292) and Summer Slade (280).
A LOOK AT DAYTON:Â The Flyers sit atop the A-10 with a 13-0 conference record and are 20-5 overall. Jamie Peterson leads the conference with 358 kills, averaging 4.31/set. Livie Sandt has totaled 782 assists to help lead the Dayton offense to a conference-best .228 hitting percentage. The Flyers own the top spot in the A-10 with 376 total blocks, led by Amelia Moore with 105 (1st in the A-10).
