WASHINGTON – GW volleyball will visit George Mason on Friday before returning home on Saturday for the first time since Sept. 25 to host its Revolutionary Rival in back-to-back conference matchups. First serve for both matches is at 5 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT:Â The Buff & Blue will look to build off of their first victory of the season last weekend after topping Rhode Island in five sets. In a night of season-bests, Sarah Pintel (14 kills), Liv Womble (10 kills), Lauren LaBeck (37 assists) and Bella Bowman (29 digs) all set new season-highs.
ON THE RISE:Â Pintel has led the Buff & Blue offense in the last two matches, highlighted by her season-high 14-kill performance at Rhode Island. At Fordham on Oct. 8, Pintel hit for .278 with eight kills. The Cherry Hill, N.J., native's 22 kills across the weekend pushed her season total to 68.
MATCHING UP WITH MASON:Â The Patriots (2-15, 0-6 A-10) will look to tally their first conference victory of the season and first win since Aug. 29 vs. Howard. Mason's top two offensive threats share a difference of just eight kills, with Payton Ehmke at 154 kills and Olyvia Kennedy with 146. Setter Erin Derick sits fourth in the conference with 461 assists thanks to nine 30+ assist outings this season.
