Colonial of the Week Presented By Capgemini: Lacrosse

Event: Colonial Harvest
The GW lacrosse team earns Capgemini Colonial of the Week honors after wrapping up a successful 2019 Colonial Harvest, in which 2,000 items were donated on Collection Day at the beginning of November. The team was able to create 47 full baskets of food and raise $3,250 in cash donations for families in need.
The lacrosse team delivered all of the food collected to Saint Rita's Church and had the opportunity to interact with the families as they gathered the baskets after their church service. The fruits of their labor culminated on Thanksgiving Day, giving families what they needed to have a successful holiday.
A number of items were also delivered to the Foggy Bottom Food Pantry and The Store, GW's food pantry for students.
