Nachtwey posted season high on 3M
GREENSBORO, N.C. - With a season-best performance on the 3-meter board, Peter Nachtwey led the GW divers at the NC State/GAC Invitational.
The Colonials got the chance to test themselves over three days at the Greensboro Aquatic Center vs. competition from the ACC, Big 10 and SEC.
On Thursday, Nachtwey advanced to the consolation final on 3-meter before posting his season best score of 291.15 to place 13th. The 2019 A-10 Most Outstanding diver also paced the GW men on 1-meter with 235.25, while first-year Spencer Bystrom posted the program's top platform score (227.25) in his collegiate debut in the event to finish 13th.
Caitlin Inall, a first-year from Connecticut, led the women on both boards, posting scores of 201.70 on 1-meter and 196.60 on 3-meter.
