No. 14 Men’s Squash Falls in Pair of Matches

Alterki defeats No. 5 ranked player from St. Lawrence
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The George Washington men's squash team fell in a pair of matches in New York over the weekend.
The Colonials first faced No. 10 St. Lawrence on Saturday, falling to the Saints 7-2. First-year Idan Hare was able to pick up a win at No. 9 while sophomore Mohammad Alterki put up one of the best matches of his career at No. 1, edging Mohamed El Gawarhy, the No. 5 ranked individual player in the College Squash Association.
GW wrapped up its longest road stretch of the season on Sunday at No. 5 Rochester, dropping the match 9-0.
