Track Sets Three Records at Colonial Relays

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The George Washington men's and women's outdoor track teams combined to set a trio of new program records over the weekend at the two-day Colonial Relays at William & Mary.
The women's team set two new program records in both the 3000m Steeplechase and the Distance Medley Relay.
Junior Suzanne Dannheim was the record-setting performer in the steeplechase, shaving eight seconds off of the previous record by posting a time of 10:52.07 to place fifth overall in the field of 30 competitors.
Also on the women's side, the quartet of Margaret Coogan, Kathryn Nohilly, Madison Yerke and Halley Brown combined to post a time of 12:19.72 for a new program record in the Distance Medley Relay. The previous record was 12:37.19 set in 2016.
New personal records were also set on the women's team by Kathry Nohilly (1500m), Margaret Coogan (1500m) and Kelli Stetson (500m).
The program record for the men's 3000m steeplechase also fell as graduate student Matt Lange ran to a time of 9:07.86 to finish second overall in a field of 35 competitors. The previous record was held by John Louis-Pane (9:23.19).
