No. 14 Women’s Squash Set for Trio of Matches

Colonials make last road trip of 2018
SERVING FIRST: The George Washington women's squash team will conclude competition in 2018 this weekend with a trio of matches in Hartford, Connecticut. The Colonials will first face No. 11 Brown on Friday (6 p.m.), before going head-to-head with No. 2 Trinity (12 p.m.) on Saturday, and then wrapping up their weekend on Sunday with a bout against No. 15 Middlebury (12 p.m.)
LAST TIME OUT: The Colonials fell in a 7-2 battle to No. 11 Dartmouth on Sunday, where four of the matches went to overtime. Zoe Foo Yuk Han and Engy Elmandouh captured wins at the top two spots on the ladder.
ABOUT BROWN: The Bears won their opening match against Bates, 7-2, and will face Yale on Tuesday before meeting the Buff and Blue for their Friday matchup. The Colonials faced Brown in the first round of last season's CSA Nationals, where they were edged, 5-4.
ABOUT TRINITY: The Bantams have triumphed in their three opening matches, 9-0 over both Mount Holyoke and Bowdoin, and 7-2 over Bates. Trinity is set to play Drexel on Friday before hosting the Colonials at home on Saturday.
ABOUT MIDDLEBURY: The Panthers swept Tufts, 9-0, in their opening match, and will travel to Wesleyan on Saturday before facing GW at Trinity on Sunday. Last season, the Colonials defeated Middlebury in a 7-2 decision.
