Weber Named A-10 Co-Track Performer of the Week

Senior continued strong final campaign with PR on Saturday
WASHINGTON - Senior Andrew Weber was named the Atlantic 10's co-Track Performer of the Week for his performance at the Eastern Shore Cappy Anderson Invitational, it was announced on Tuesday.
Weber posted a personal-best time of 8:49.11 in the indoor 3000m, taking home the individual crown in the event on Saturday. The time was nearly two seconds better than his previous best in the event set last indoor season.
The Chicago native has enjoyed a tremendous senior campaign, winning the Mount. St. Mary's Duals to open cross country season and eventually finishing 16th at the Atlantic 10 Championship and in the top-50 at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic region meet.
Weber and the Colonials are off from competition until January when they resume indoor track season with the Keydet Invite on Jan. 19 in Lexington, Va.
