No. 14 Men’s Squash Hangs Tough with No. 7 Dartmouth

Colonials fall to Big Green, 7-2
HANOVER, N.H. – Against its third-straight College Squash Association top-10 nationally ranked opponent, the George Washington men's squash team battled No. 7 Dartmouth, but couldn't complete the upset, falling 7-2 on Sunday morning.
Despite the loss, senior Moudy Abdel-Maksoud notched a victory at the top spot on the ladder, coming back from a two-game deficit to defeat Dartmouth's Carson Spahr, 3-2. The co-captain leads the squad with five victories this season.
Inaki de Larrauri gave the Buff and Blue their second victory of the day at No. 5, taking Max Finkelstein in straight sets, 11-5, 11-8, 11-9.

The Colonials will face a trio of opponents next weekend in Connecticut, starting with a 6 p.m. bout with No. 15 Brown on Friday. GW will then go head-to-head with No. 1 Trinity on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. before closing out its weekend with a noon matchup on Sunday against No. 20 Middlebury.
