Lange wrapped a stellar cross country season with a record-setting performance at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional last Friday. The graduate student was GW's top finisher and also set a new GW cross country record in the 10,000-meter distance.
Lange finished with a time of 31:13.40 to set a new 10K record for cross country, topping the previous record of 31:28.00 by Darrell Andruski in 2003.
Additionally, Lange led the Colonials with a 37th-place finish to make him a perfect 5-for-5 in being the top-performing GW harrier in each race he has competed this fall.
