Sophomore Miranda DiBiasio became GW's first-ever individual conference champion when she won the 10,000-meter run at this weekend's Atlantic 10 Championship at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Virginia.

Sophomore Miranda DiBiasio became GW's first-ever individual conference champion when she won the 10,000-meter run at this weekend's Atlantic 10 Championship at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Virginia.
DiBiasio dominated the field of 20 competitors with a time of 35:07.64, lapping the field and finishing 38 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
The Berea, Ohio, native is enjoying a fine sophomore season that has seen her capture All-Conference honors from the Atlantic 10 for cross country, indoor track (5000m) and outdoor track (10000m). Saturday's performance also stands as the second outdoor track All-Conference honor of her career after last year's performance in the 5000m.
