No. 13 GW Women's Squash Concludes Challenging Weekend

PRINCETON - The No. 13 George Washington women's squash team challenged itself in a pair of matches against top-five opponents this weekend but lost, 9-0, at No. 2 Penn on Saturday and 8-1 at No. 4 Princeton on Sunday.
Penn won all nine matches in three games on Saturday.
Senior Breanne Flynn picked up the lone win of the weekend for the Colonials when she swept her way to an 11-9, 11-3, 11-7 win over Princeton's Isabel Hirshberg at the No. 1 position on Sunday.
Freshman Engy El Mandouh put forth a solid effort at the No. 2 position on the ladder but ultimately fell in five games, 4-11, 11-4, 7-11, 11-8, 4-11, to Lindsey Scott.
GW will conclude the fall portion of its 2016-17 schedule with visits to Virginia (Dec. 2) and Columbia (Dec. 4).
