WASHINGTON - The No. 8-ranked George Washington women's squash team will return to the site of its 2014 Kurtz Cup championship when it visits No. 5 Princeton for its final match of the fall portion of the schedule on Monday evening at 6 p.m. at the Jadwin Squash Courts in Princeton, N.J.
GW (1-2) opened the season with a 9-0 victory over Georgetown before falling in a doubleheader two weeks ago to No. 6 Cornell and No. 7 Stanford. GW also defeated Navy's male junior varsity team in an exhibition match.
Junior Eunice Tan and freshman Abby Shonrock both lead the Colonials into Monday's match with a 2-1 individual record.
Junior Anna Gabriela Porras and sophomore Breanne Flynn, both currently competing at the WSF World Women's Championships in Ontario, will be back and in the lineup on Monday night against the Tigers.
GW last faced Princeton last season, falling 9-0 on Dec. 7 at the Matthew J. Grossman Squash Courts.
Princeton (3-0) went 2-1 at last year's College Squash Association (CSA) Team Championships on their home courts to finish with a final national ranking of No. 5.
GW will resume its season on Jan. 3 when it faces No. 15 Bates College in Stanford, California.
