Men's Squash Splits Matches In Final Home Weekend

WASHINGTON, DC - The George Washington men's squash team concluded the regular season by splitting two matches last weekend against Haverford and Williams College. In their final home match on Sunday the Colonials defeated Haverford 9-0 before concluding the regular season in Princeton, NJ and falling to Williams by the same 9-0 score.
The Colonials also unveiled a new court dedication on Sunday afternoon as the squash courts at the Health & Wellness Center will now bear current senior Matthew Grossman's name. The ceremony was originally scheduled to take place during the match, but the Grossman family was unable to travel to Washington, DC due to a pair of snowstorms that resulted in a record snowfall that blanketed the DC metro area.
George Washington will now prepare for the CSA Team Nationals, which take place on Feb.19-21. The team Nationals competition will take place this season in New Haven, CT on the campus of Yale University.
