The GW Men's Rowing team recently received a very generous donation from Jess Bell, Sr., an uncle of sophomore oarsman Tim Conroy.

"This donation will benefit the Men's team in many ways, one of which will be the purchasing of new travel uniforms," said GW Men's Coach Matt Boyle. "The help we have received from Mr. Bell has been amazing, he has been very eager to support our student-athletes and his donation will move this entire program forward. The guys on the team are excited about this and we are all very appreciative."

Kate Austin is one of three GW rowers named to the 2006 A-10 Academic All-Conference team. It marked the second straight year that the junior from Madison, WI, has been selected for the honor.
