HIGH SCHOOL:
A 6-foot outside hitter from Matthews, NC, O[apos]Brien has an impressive volleyball resume with four straight State Championship titles at Charlotte Latin School under coach Suzie Pignetti. O[apos]Brien was named best offensive player on her team and accumulated more than 1,000 kills in her four-year career. She recorded 405 kills, 226 digs and 35 blocks during her senior year. ... O[apos]Brien was named a 2007-08 AVCA High School Senior All-American, a prestigious award that recognizes only 32 players nationwide.

She is a passionate, driven player which makes her a lot of fun to watch.'
