Finlay Clark arrived in Foggy Bottom as the Director of Player Development in the Spring of 2025. He enters his second season with the program in 2026-27.
During his first season in Foggy Bottom, Clark helped guide GW to 18 wins, assisting in setting the culture of hard work and excellence laid out by Head Coach Ganiyat Adeduntan. The program's 13 home wins were the most since 2014-15, and the Revolutionaries thrived in March, winning three games in the WNIT to advance to the tournament's Great Eight. GW's postseason push was the deepest WNIT run in postseason history, and matched the most wins in a postseason tournament since 1996-97.
Clark joined GW's coaching staff after serving as a graduate assistant with Alabama’s women’s basketball program. While with the Crimson Tide, Clark was responsible for recording and distributing practice footage to the program’s coaches and players. He also assisted the coaching staff with opponent scouting, player development and analytics analysis as well. While in Tuscaloosa, Clark also assisted with the planning and execution of team travel, recruiting visits and camps, while also overseeing the program’s student managers.
Prior to his time with Alabama, Clark was a student manager with the Texas A&M women’s basketball team. Starting in the fall of 2021, Clark quickly rose up the ranks and was named the Head Student Manager by the fall of 2022. His duties with the Aggies included leading the team of student managers, serving as a liaison to the department’s facility operations staff, working with opposing teams to ensure their needs were met while visiting, and assisting in ordering and keeping inventory of all program equipment.
Clark graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M in 2023 with a major in Sport Management and a minor in Communication. He earned his Master of Science in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Sport Management from Alabama in 2025.
