Denzel Brito joined GW in July 2024 as a Graduate Assistant for the men's basketball program and is currently responsible for player development and scouting. Brito came to GW from Tabor Academy where he served as an Assistant and Player Development Coach.
The Onset, Mass., native was recruited as a two-sport athlete at Lawrence Academy where he was apart of the most wins in school history with 102 and is the third all-time leading scorer. Brito also held numerous Power 5 football offers. Brito signed to play at Loyola University Chicago before transferring to Loyola University Maryland where he lead the team in assists and steals for three seasons while graduating with a degree in Communications.
Brito played professionally overseas over the last eight years in Germany, Spain, Ireland, Portugal and Australia. Brito also was selected to compete for the Cape Verde National Team in FIBA Africa.
