GW women's soccer rallied from a 3-0 halftime deficit on Sunday afternoon at the GW Soccer Field, but its comeback attempt fell just short of completion as the visiting Hawks left with a 3-2 win. GW fell to 3-5-3 overall with an 0-2-1 mark in A10 play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
2ND MINUTE: An overhit corner kick was recycled into the box for Valentina Nardone who sent a shot into the top-left corner of the net.
9TH MINUTE: Saint Joseph's Olivia Benzing drove into the box near the end-line and played a pass back to Sarah Fisher who scored on her one-timed shot.
40TH MINUTE: The Hawks drew a penalty in GW's box, and the penalty kick was scored by Nardone.
60TH MINUTE: A bouncing ball was collected by Kalia Kau in the box, who passed it to Sophia Michel who buried her shot far-side.
