11/13/2025 9:25:00 AM | Women's Basketball
Ahead of the December 5th Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Jack Morton Auditorium in GW's Media and Public Affairs Building, located at 805 21st Street NW, GW Athletics will profile each of the six inductees in the 2025 Class.
Today, we look at women's basketball star Jessica Adair ('09), who led GW's most storied program back to the A-10 mountain top and onto the national stage.
In a career that spanned from 2005-09, Adair was selected to three Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Teams. Her time with the Buff & Blue saw her stand among the all-time program leaders in points (12th), rebounds (11th), blocks (sixth) and free throws made (4th).
Most importantly, Adair helped lead George Washington to three Atlantic 10 regular season championships and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament in both her sophomore and junior seasons. One of only eight women in program history who rank in the top 15 in both points and rebounds, she later became GW's first WNBA Champion with the Minnesota Lynx in 2011.
The induction ceremony will take place at 6:00 p.m. on December 5th, with a reception to follow at 7:00 p.m. GW Athletics will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Charles E. Smith Center throughout the weekend of Dec. 5-6th. Be a part of the festivities here.
