Adams Earns CSC Academic All-District Honor

Grad student continues career year with academic accolade
WASHINGTON - GW men's basketball graduate student Brendan Adams was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, it was announced on Tuesday. Adams is now eligible for Academic All-America honors, which will be announced in March.
Following his graduation from Connecticut in three years with a degree in economics, Adams has been pursuing his Master's of Business Administration from GW with a graduate certificate in Management Leadership. The Baltimore native holds a 3.65 GPA in his MBA coursework and is on pace to earn his second degree this spring.
On the court, Adams has had a breakout final campaign as one of the most improved players in the Atlantic 10. He is currently averaging 17.6 ppg, more than nine points above his previous best. He also is second in the A-10 in 3-point percentage at 39.8% and seventh in field goal percentage at 47.5%.
