GW, INFLCR Partner on GDUB NIL Exchange for Revolutionary Benefits
WASHINGTON – George Washington University is pleased to announce an enhanced partnership with INFLCR that will give the benefits of INFLCR's Local Exchange program to all GW Revs. The new service will provide a home for both local and national businesses to connect directly and engage with GW student-athletes for NIL opportunities. The program has been dubbed the GDUB NIL Exchange.
"Our commitment to providing our student-athletes with the very best tools and resources to enhance every aspect of their lives here and beyond GW is resolute," said GW Director of Athletics Tanya Vogel. "With INFLCR's partnership, the GDUB NIL Exchange will do exactly that – providing a way for industry-leading companies and the power-players and up-and-comers in the nation's capital to be Revolutionary in the NIL space with our student-athletes."
The GDUB NIL Exchange will be a one-stop shop to allow companies to interface with Revolutionaries for NIL opportunities. The service is free for students-athletes and businesses to use. Once a company registers within the GDUB NIL Exchange, it will have access to a searchable database of all GW student-athletes, with the ability to filter through a variety of criteria to find an optimal fit for students in the marketplace. The exchange allows for the parties to communicate directly in the app, or share contact information to begin discussions about any potential NIL opportunities.
"We're proud to partner with George Washington University to launch the GDUB Exchange," said INFLCR General Manager Sean Kelly. "The exchange opens the door for George Washington University student-athletes to make connections with businesses and fans, unlocking new NIL opportunities."
With this new resource, GW student-athletes will fully be able to create business connections, take advantage of the immense opportunities in DC, access tax information and create necessary separation between the university and the student's maximization of their name, image and likeness. The GDUB NIL Exchange will also provide student-athletes with education on NIL issues and track the social media engagement and growth that is unique to athletes in The District, a top-ten media market in the United States.
