Schroeder set the pace for GW men's water polo in a Saturday sweep to close the regular season that pushed the Buff and Blue into the No. 3 spot in the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference standings.
The senior from Orinda, Calif., tallied a team-high four goals, an assist and two steals in an 11-6 win over Johns Hopkins at Smith Center Pool in the morning before later adding three scores and two more steals in an 11-10 victory at No. 19 Navy.
Schroeder is now tied for the team lead with 40 goals this fall, and his 57 points are already a career high, heading into this weekend's MAWPC Championship.
