Window Takes Home A-10 Rookie of the Week Honors

First-year honored after three goal week
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Alicia Window has been honored as the A-10 Conference Rookie of the Week for her play with George Washington women's soccer last week.
The first-year had a monstrous offensive showing over the last seven days, starting it off with her first career multi-goal game against Dayton, before scoring the game-winning goal in the Buff & Blue's 2-0 home win against Saint Joseph's on Sunday. Window's first goal against the Flyers came just 12 seconds into the match, making it one of the fastest goals in program history.
Window was recognized with an A-10 weekly honor for the first time in her career. She is the first Colonial to be named A-10 Rookie of the Week since Alexis Williams was given the honor on September 18, 2017.
This season, Window leads the team with four goals and ranks second on the squad with eight points.
Window was also honored as GWsports.com's Colonial of the Week for her offensive efforts this week.
GW will be back in action on Thursday, when it travels to Pittsburgh to take on Duquesne at 7 p.m.
