Welcome back to Beyond the Bio, where we'll get to know more about the people behind the scenes at GW Athletics.
In this edition, we learn about Kate Southall, who is entering her sixth year with the Buff & Blue and third year in her current role as the Director of Marketing, Promotion and Fan Engagement. Kate oversees the development of creative content and strategic marketing initiatives to promote our teams and department.
When I'm not working, my favorite thing to do is?
Go on a long run. One major highlight of my quarantine!
If I was an animal, I would be?
A unicorn
If I could only eat one meal for every meal for the rest of my life, it would be?

My favorite book, movie, TV show or podcast is?
Book: It's hard to pick a favorite book of all time but my favorite during quarantine is definitely Over the Top by Jonathan Van Ness
Movie: Bridesmaids
TV Show: The Challenge!!!
My top #OnlyAtGW moment was?
There are so many to choose from... #1 would have to be the basketball game that Swae Lee showed up at. Not only was there a celebrity in the building, but there was also a student protest in the stands during one of the timeouts. Classic!
If I could be granted the gift of elite athleticism, I'd like to be able to?
