Beyond the Bio: Jeremy Schrank
12/15/2020 11:00:00 AM | My GW: Celebrating our Stories
Welcome back to Beyond the Bio, where we'll get to know more about the people behind the scenes at GW Athletics.
This edition highlights Jeremy Schrank, who finds innovative ways to tell the stories of the Buff and Blue as a Multimedia and Broadcast Services Assistant within the Marketing team.
When I'm not working, my favorite thing to do is?
Play golf and go out to eat.
Â
If I was an animal, I would be?
A lion.
If I could only eat one meal for every meal for the rest of my life, it would be?
Portillos Italian beef and hot dogs. People from Chicago know what I'm talking about.
Â
My favorite place I've ever been is?
Bahamas. There is something about that baby blue water.
If I could have coffee with anybody in the world, living or historical, he/she would be?
I'm a bit of a history person so my instinct is to go with a historical figure, but I'll say Dwyane Wade. Grew up such a huge fan and would love to ask him questions.
Â
The one job in GW Athletics I'd like to do for a day is?
Be a coach. I have so much respect for coaches and have always wanted to be a coach someday. Many of my coaches growing up had such a positive impact on me, and I'd love to be able to be that person for others.
Â
My favorite book, movie, TV show or podcast is?
Movie:Â Wedding Crashers
TV Show:Â Friends
Podcast:Â Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz
My top #OnlyatGWÂ moment was?
This might be a cop out answer, but it's every day. Just driving to work, I go by the Washington Monument and the White House. I can't think of anything more #OnlyatGW than that.
If I could be granted the gift of elite athleticism, I'd like to be able to?
Dunk with ease. I think it must feel so good for people to just walk into a gym at any time and throw one down.
