2019-20 Men’s Basketball A-10 Slate Announced

The Colonials open conference play at home vs. St. Bonaventure on Jan. 5, 2020
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The GW men's basketball team on Wednesday released its 2019-20 Atlantic 10 schedule, which will include home games vs. St. Bonaventure, George Mason, Davidson and Rhode Island as part of the 18-game slate.
Under the direction of Jamion Christian, who has compiled a 78-46 conference record and never finished lower than fifth in the league standings in his seven years as a head coach, the Colonials will open the 18-game campaign on Jan. 5 at home vs. St. Bonaventure.
GW will appear in five nationally-televised games, including a Feb. 8 home date with Rhode Island on CBS Sports Network. The Colonials will be on NBC Sports Network twice (Jan. 18 at Massachusetts, Feb. 15 at George Mason) and Stadium once (Feb. 5 at St. Bonaventure). CBS Sports Network will also carry GW's lone meeting of the season with VCU on Feb. 29 in Richmond, Va.
The Colonials previously announced their 13-game non-conference schedule which will see them open the season on the road at Towson on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The home opener is set for Saturday, Nov. 9 vs. Howard.
