Sophomore Maria Pareja helped lead GW to victories against UMBC (4-1) and La Salle (3-1) last week.
Against the Retrievers, Pareja scored the go-ahead goal along with assisting the game-tying goal early in the match. The Fairfax, Va., native also tallied her fifth goal of the season on Sunday in the Colonials' A-10 opener at La Salle.
In addition to Colonial of the Week honors, the sophomore was named A-10 Co-Player of the Week.
