GREENVILLE, N.C. -Â GW volleyball rounded out its third tournament of the year on a winning note, sweeping USC Upstate Saturday morning at the Pirate Invitational.

• The Colonials used a late-set comeback to earn the opening stanza win after trailing by as many as four.
• Down 21-17, a kill from first-year Sarah Pintel sparked a 5-0 spurt to surge the Colonials ahead, 22-21. Leading 24-23, junior Callie Fauntleroy finished off the set with her second kill of the set.

• GW led wire-to-wire in the second set, racking up 15 kills to claim the decisive two-set advantage.
