Dannheim became second woman in program history to qualify for national meet

Dannheim continued her historic season in cross country, becoming the first Colonial in eight years to qualify for the national meet and just the second in program history. The senior, who previously earned All-Conference honors for her second-place finish at the A-10 Championship, finished seventh at the regional race to earn an individual spot this weekend at the national championship. Her 6k time of 20:24.6 was the third-fastest in school history.
Dannheim will be competing on the national stage for the second time this calendar year, previously doing so in the 3000m steeplechase during the NCAA East Preliminaries of the 2019 outdoor track season.Â
