Men’s Basketball Reveals Complete 2018-19 Schedule

The Colonials open their A-10 slate on Jan. 6 at Saint Joseph’s
WASHINGTON – The GW men's basketball program on Wednesday revealed its Atlantic 10 schedule for the 2018-19 season, which includes home games with Dayton, VCU, Saint Louis and St. Bonaventure, as part of an 18-game league schedule.
GW is slated for six nationally-televised games in A-10 play, including the opener at Saint Joseph's on Jan. 6, which will be carried by NBC Sports Network. The Colonials open the home portion of league play on Wednesday, Jan. 9 vs. Dayton, while also playing host to Richmond (Jan. 12), Duquesne (Jan. 20, NBCSN) and Fordham (Jan. 30, Stadium) that month.
The February slate sees GW host VCU (Feb. 6), Saint Louis (Feb. 13, CBS Sports Network) and UMass (Feb. 20), while hitting the road for games at Richmond (Feb. 9), Duquesne (Feb. 16, NBCSN), VCU (Feb. 23) and Rhode Island (Feb. 26).
The Colonials will close their conference slate in March with a home tilt vs. St. Bonaventure on the 2nd, before making their final road trip to Fordham on March 6. Revolutionary Rival George Mason visits Smith Center for the regular season finale on March 9 in a game that will be televised by Stadium.
GW previously announced its 13-game non-conference slate, with the season opener set for Tuesday, Nov. 6 vs. Stony Brook in Smith Center.
The season starts unofficially at GDub Madness on Friday, Oct. 26 when both men's and women's basketball teams will perform in front of the Smith Center faithful.
