HOW IT HAPPENED
- 3rd Minute -- Junior Charley Prevost netted her first goal of the season off an assist from fellow junior midfielder Sofia Pavon. Pavon found Prevost from about 20 yards to the right of the Delaware State goalkeeper to put the Colonials on the board for an early lead. (GW 1, DSU 0)
- 4th Minute - One minute later, junior defender Dani Frese took a pass from senior Brittany Cooper off of a corner kick to increase the GW lead. (GW 2, DSU 0)
- 11th Minute - The Colonials continued to attack and found the back of the net once again when freshman Alexis Williams weaved past the Hornets' defense to find Cooper open for a shot that slipped through the goalkeeper's grip. (GW 3, DSU 0)
- 51st Minute - Freshman Natalie Silberman tallied her first collegiate career goal to put the Colonials up 4-0 in the second half. Williams tallied her second assist of the night when she passed the ball to the left corner of the box and Silberman kicked the ball out of the goalkeeper's reach. (GW 4, DSU 0).
- 86th Minute - With four minutes left on the clock, the Colonials' defense was holding strong until Daijah Norris fired a shot from outside the box and into the net. (GW 4, DSU 1)
