
Colonials of the Week - Gymnastics' Raineri and Drouin-Allaire

The pair both qualified as individual competitors for the upcoming NCAA Championship, the first time in program history that the Colonials are sending multiple competitors in the same season.
Raineri made history as GW's first-ever NCAA Regional champion when she tied for first place on vault with a 9.875, clinching a spot at the NCAA Championship on that event. She also shined on floor exercise where she tied for third place with a 9.90.
Drouin-Allaire qualified for the NCAA Championship in the all-around for the second time in her career, becoming GW's first-ever repeat competitor. She placed seventh in the all-around with a 39.175 on Saturday, aided by scores of 9.825 on vault, 9.75 on uneven bars, 9.80 on balance beam and 9.80 on floor exercise.
As a team, the Colonials combined to register the highest postseason score in program history with a 195.625.
