Chris Fletcher posted an undefeated weekend for the Colonials with two singles wins and a doubles triumph.
Fletcher claimed his first career victory over a nationally ranked singles player on Saturday with his 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 win over No. 113 Luis Marillo Diaz of Middle Tennessee at the No. 3 position of the ladder.
On Friday, Fletcher helped GW (3-2) defeat Austin Peay with his three-set win at the No. 2 singles position after taking an efficient, 6-2, doubles victory in third-flight action.
Fletcher owns a team best 4-1 singles record in dual match play so far on the young season.
